Hello,

I know this has been discussed earlier:
http://dev-archive.ambermd.org/201706/0031.html

But as I updated my git to the latest version 2.14.2, the same problem
re-appeared:

miao01:~/amber-current$ git --version
git version 2.14.2
miao01:~/amber-current$ git submodule update --init
Submodule 'AmberTools/src/ambertools-binary-build'
(git.github.com:/Amber-MD/ambertools-binary-build)

fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.
fatal: clone of 'git.github.com:/Amber-MD/ambertools-binary-build' into
submodule path
'/home/y147m353/amber-current/AmberTools/src/ambertools-binary-build' failed

fatal: Could not read from remote repository.
...

I was wondering what git version do we have for the remote repository. Do
we need to install the same version locally, or which versions are
compatible?

Thanks,
Yinglong
