Many of you already know this, but others may not:
There exists an Amber-developers wiki: http://ambermd.org/pmwikwi, password
is "pakrules".
There are places there for dicussions and "wish lists" for Amber12 and
AmberTools2.0, an (empty for now) place for Amber12 test results, and some
more general pieces of information.
In the past, the wiki has only occasionally been used, mainly to collect
test results on various platforms in the months leading up to a release.
At least in our community, people tend not to visit the wiki on a regular
basis, whereas email exchanges often get immediate attention (as you can
tell from the recent flurry). But there are some older posts that can
provide context for our present dicsussions.
Please feel free to edit the pages. Same rules as for e-mails: (1) no
flames; (2) be brief (or create a new page for longer posts); (3) limit
discussion of "what we should have done in the past"
Email to amber-developers is probably still the best way to have discussions,
but posts to the wiki may have more permanence.
