You really should look at the commit log for that git commit I sent --
something quite similar to this ;).
As part of the installation script, they tried to remove the folder
/usr/lib/nvidia-xorg/xorg, but a poorly-placed "space" ruined things:
rm -fr /usr /lib/nvidia-xorg/xorg
