Hello everyone,
I've implemented an AMBERHOME check in configure to check that AMBERHOME
both exists and is set to what we expect it to be set to. If anything seems
wrong, we stop the configure script instantly and ask the user if they want
to continue. If you choose to blindly go along and *still* get problems, I
have no reason to stop you ;).
I gave it a quick test, but if others can give it a go (especially on Ubuntu
to make sure that what I did wasn't just compliant with bash, but works with
dash too) and see what they think, maybe we can move it over to AmberTools
1.5.
Thinking about it some more -- this *would* be helpful for users if, for
instance, they want to install AmberTools 1.6 in the future but not upgrade
to Amber12, since then they'll need both directories around (such as what we
had with amber10 + AmberTools 1.3 and 1.4).
All the best,
Jason
