Dear AMBER Developers,
Do you know any senior undergraduates with a strong mathematical background that would like to spend this summer in Ireland learning to code?
Here at the Irish Centre for High-End Computing (ICHEC, www.ichec.ie) we are offering summer scholarships for senior undergraduates this summer.
ICHEC is based in the Irish cities of Dublin and Galway and provide HPC facilities for researchers in third level institutes. We are also recognized as an
official CUDA research center.
Students would need to apply by the 13th March 2011 and be willing to spent the summer in Ireland (13th June 2011-19th August 2011) - it doesn't rain everyday then ;)
Unfortunately, there are no AMBER specific projects available but there are bioinformatics, cheminformatics, weather, cloud computing, and system projects.
Depending on the project, students will program in one or more of the following Fortran/C/C++/Python/CUDA/OpenMP/OpenCL/MPI. The scholarship would certainly
up skill incoming post-graduates. Please forward the details to prospective students as you see fit.
