You may very well be the *only* one :-)
I have tried to compile a MPI implementation in Cygwin about a year
ago, but had a lot of problems (don't quite remember now, but I do
remember that it was impossible to get LAM working, and I also tried
OpenMPI and MPICH, with no success). I haven't tried it since. Which
MPI are you using? How was the compilation, etc?
