I am also able to compile everything (linux) using gnu
(4.3.4). Few days ago I was also able to compile it with ifort/gcc
[don't have icc] -- too lazy to try again (as this typically involves
some minor {yet annoying} tweaking).
Regarding the ncsu tests failures -- this is compiler error of
gfortran 4.1
Let's wait until it is frozen and then test more systematically.
