I see no problem with them patching 9 after it is available; I just don't
want this stuff to impact development and maintenance of the overall
product. Dave, I guess this means you can post the patch. We should
probably note that the patch is both unsupported and not tested by the
amber
team. Mengjuei, perhaps this was in the code and I missed it, but is
there
a way that users can contact the appropriate folks at Apple if/when this
thing bites them? Also please pass my thanks along to your Apple
contacts;
I am not trying to be difficult with them, but do have to be practical
about
what we embrace as part of the supported codebase.
