As you may have noticed on the web page, Amber20/AmberTools20 is now
released. Thanks to everyone who helped out in this chaotic last month,
with special thanks to Jamie, Scott, Gerald, and Jaime. We also got
valuable input from Jason, Stephan, Brent, Romain, Dan, and many others.
The 'Amber20' tag in the master branch (aka commit 5702a232fe8b695b71c)
will have code that matches the release (exceptions: pytraj code in the
release has been passed through Cython; version number for parmed may be
different; and, there are files in gitlab that are missing in the release).
If you want to continue to track the master branch at gitlab: here is what
works for me:
# I git cloned into /home/case/amber.git
cd /home/case/amber.git/build
# edit run_cmake to replace "amber20_src" with "amber.git"
# as the source directory
./run_cmake. # i.e. the usual build process:
# Installation will go into /home/case/amber20
make install
cd /home/case/amber20
source amber.sh
The master branch at gitlab is now open for further changes (i.e. beyond
what it in the released version.) Some of these will become future
updates.
I'm sure there are glitches and pieces of misinformation on the web
site. Merge requests to amber_web are wecome to help make things
better.
...thanks again to all....dac
