Hi everyone:
As we had always hoped, putting AmberTools out in with a open-source
license has encouraged others to pitch in. The most recent one I have
found is the EasyBuild system, which coordinates builds and has
developed a lot of patches, many of which we should consider
incorporating.
I've created an issue on gitlab:

Please post comments there, and take a look at this if you are
interested and have the time.
