Hi,
JCIM has created a brand new "Application Note" article type (see:
http://pubs.acs.org/paragonplus/submission/jcisd8/jcisd8_authguide.pdf), which would be great for a lot of the new additions to AMBER. Pengfei and I are doing one on MCPB.py, for example. I am biased, of course, but I’d encourage folks to consider this article type which is aimed towards the development of useful software tools like AMBER. If you have any questions let me know.
