The global web page username and password I'd like to keep since it keeps
the administration down since we don't have to be paranoid about updating
etc if remote exploits are found in bugzilla or the underlying database
server etc. The need for an individual username and password just to view
bugs I agree is overkill but I couldn't work out how to set things up to
allow this. Perhaps Scott can take a look as well and see if he can figure
that out. We could also consider having the same username and password as
the site itself for a bugzilla login that has view only access if we can't
figure out how to do anonymous viewing of bugs.
I'm sure there is a way to do it, just need to look at the docs.

We could certainly do this. ambermd.org or amber-md.org are $21.99 a year
for 2 years, or $15.99 a year for 10 years using the domain hoster I use
(
http://www.freeparking.co.uk/) which I have had a lot of success with. Do
you want me to register it? Or do you want to do it under your name? If you
then give me the login and password I can set it up to point to the amber
bugzilla page - I could also have Mark Williamson move the mailing list
archives across to that domain as well when he joins me in March.
All the best
Ross
